Spotted!

SPOTTED!

Her style is apparently simple, very casual yet sophisticated. A black & white floral printed dress with a black bandeau underneath and matched it up with white cardigan, black shoulder bag and flats. The over all b&w look seems to be so comfortable to wear, just right for shopping.

In the trend cycle chart, this over-all look falls under Peak(Majority), most people wear this kind of look. It just never got out of the trend, a dress plus cardigan and flats, very simple but stylish and very much comfortable.

The type of consumers who would normally wear this kind of look are the ones who just want to feel comfortable being in this kind of look. And are the ones who love to go shopping, a dress is perfect whenever you go shopping because you don't want to take your denim pants off and wear them again then take them off and wear again while fitting inside the very small fitting room.

Theory: Trickle Across

This guy was wearing a printed tee covered with long sleeve button down shirt, then black skinny pants and boots, making a nerdy look.

Here in Manila, we can say that this over-all look falls under Increase in Population(Early Adopter) category because not most Filipinos prefer this kind of look. I don't often see a guy wearing a nerdy or geeky look especially the jocky ones.

Theory: Trickle Up, this nerdy look has been a fashion trend for guys.

The type of consumers who would wear this kind of look are the ones who go to work but requires a not-so-corporate look.

This is more of a Punk look. A sleeveless muscle shirt, denim pants, black belt, and vintage oxford shoes.

This look falls under Late Majority(Decline) as a lot of guys wear this kind of look.

Theory: Tricke Up, from punk to fahionable punk.

The type of consumers who would normally wear this look are the ones who just want to feel cool, easy, and comfortable but at the same time, be stylish.

TRIVIA ABOUT DENIM!

It dates back to late-eighteenth-century France where they made a fabric called "serge".... in the town of Nimes. Serge de Nimes. "DeNim"! :-)

At first, denim made for some pretty intense workwear; then in the 50's it became edgy and cool; and then ultimately, it went mainstream. There are hundreds of brands out there now, where once there were only a few popular ones (Levi's, Wrangler, Gap). --from the book of Lauren Conrad, "Style"
